The Orthodox-Old Catholic
Holy Rosary
in the Form Used by the United Roman-Ruthenian Church

The form of the Holy Rosary approved for use by the United Roman-Ruthenian Church is theologically sound from both Orthodox and Catholic perspectives, liturgically ancient (drawing from pre-Schism sources), spiritually unifying in a way that us natural for both East and West, and is easily prayed by laity or clergy, alone or in groups. That is, it is not an innovation, but built entirely on ancient practice. Other variations of the rosary that are traditional in nature may be used. However, this form remains the standard.

Apostles' Creed
I BELIEVE in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Pater Noster
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum; Adveniat regnum tuum; Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra. Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie; Et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris; Et ne nos inducas in tentationem;Sed libera nos a malo. Amen

SUB tuum praesidium confugimus, Sancta Dei Genetrix. Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus1, sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper, Virgo gloriosa et benedicta. Amen.
