Oath of Cardinals of the United Roman Ruthenian Church

Ego [N], Romanae Ruthenicae Ecclesiae Cardinalis [N], promitto et iuro me ab hac hora deinceps, quamdiu vixero, fidelem Christo eiusque Evangelio atque oboedientem beato Petro, beato Andrea, beato Stephano et beato Marco, sanctaeque Apostolicae Catholicae et Orthodoxae Romanae Ruthenicae Ecclesiae ac Summo Pontifici [N], eiusque successoribus canonice legitimeque electis, constanter fore; communionem cum Ecclesia orthodoxa et catholica, sive verbis a me prolatis sive mea agendi ratione, me semper servaturum; omnia nuntia vel secreta, quae mihi concredita sint, numquam in Ecclesiae damnum vel dedecus evulgaturum; magna denique cum diligentia et fidelitate onera explere, quibus teneor erga Ecclesiam, in quam ad meum servitium exercendum, secundum iuris praescripta, vocatus sum. Ita me Deus omnipotens adiuvet.

Азъ, [N], Кардиналъ Римской Русской Церкви, обѣщаю и клянусь, отъ сего часа и доколѣ живъ буду, пребывать вѣрнымъ Христу и Его Евангелію, и послушнымъ Блаженному Петру, Блаженному Андрею, Блаженному Стефану и Блаженному Марку, святой Апостольской Кафолической и Православной Римской Русской Церкви, и Верховному Понтифику [N] и его преемникамъ, канонически и законно избраннымъ; что я всегда буду сохранять общеніе съ Православной и Кафолической Церковью, какъ въ словахъ мною произносимыхъ, такъ и въ образѣ моего дѣйствованія; что я никогда не открою, во вредъ или къ посрамленію Церкви, какихъ-либо свѣдѣній или тайнъ, мнѣ ввѣренныхъ; и наконецъ, что съ великимъ тщаніемъ и вѣрностью исполню обязанности, которыми я связанъ по отношенію къ Церкви, въ которую я призванъ, согласно предписаніямъ закона, къ отправленію моего служенія. I, [N], Cardinal of the Roman Ruthenian Church, promise and swear that from this hour onward, as long as I shall live, I will remain faithful to Christ and His Gospel, and obedient to Blessed Peter, Blessed Andrew, Blessed Stephen, and Blessed Mark, to the holy Apostolic Catholic and Orthodox Roman Ruthenian Church, and to the Supreme Pontiff [N] and his successors canonically and legitimately elected; that I will always preserve communion with the Orthodox and Catholic Church, whether by words spoken by me or by my manner of acting; that I will never disclose, to the harm or disgrace of the Church, any reports or secrets that may be entrusted to me; and finally, that with great diligence and fidelity I will fulfill the obligations by which I am bound toward the Church, into which I have been called, according to the prescriptions of the law, to exercise my service. So help me Almighty God.
