Auditor (part of the Pontifical Court and Patriarchal Curia)


An auditor can refer to a judge of the Florentine Rota or to the Auditor of the Nobile Anticamera Segreta of the Prince-Bishop of Rome-Ruthenia.

Auditor of the Florentine Rota

The Florentine Rota, the main judicial body of the United Roman-Ruthenian Church, is presided over by auditors, led by a Chief Auditor as its Prefect. These individuals are tasked with reviewing cases, interpreting canon law and moral theology, and rendering canonical decisions.

The Auditor of the Nobile Anticamera Segreta

This official serves as a secretary to the Prince-Bishop related specifically to the administrative functions of the Curia.
