Chivalric dignity preserved by the Pontifical Order

A Knight Bachelor of Yugoslavia is a recipient of a chivalric dignity associated with the legacy of King Peter II, the last reigning King of Yugoslavia. The recipients use the prenomial style Sir, either with the full name or the Christian name.

The Pontifical Order of Knights Bachelor of Yugoslavia is a religious association under the protection and authority of the Pontifical Imperial State of Rome-Ruthenia and the United Roman-Ruthenian Church. It preserves records and traditions connected with King Peter II and the Royal Association of Knights Bachelor of Yugoslavia. The Roman-Ruthenian Pope may confer the honour on rare occasions; under the Order's statutes, recipients do not acquire a general power to confer it upon others.

This dignity is distinct from membership in other associations that preserve Yugoslavian chivalric traditions. Within Roman-Ruthenian protocol it belongs to the Church's wider religious, dynastic, and historical patrimony.
