Recognition of Service
The Patriarchal Service Cross is awarded for service to the United Roman-Ruthenian Church or to the arts, sciences, or humanity. It is given at the personal discretion of the Supreme Pontiff or upon recommendation by a senior official of the Roman-Ruthenian Curia.
